Focus studios make extraordinary things happen! Great audio, exciting pictures, creative post-production.

Our audio studio facilities are used for recording English and Foreign voiceovers for video, reading to picture or wild, or recording dialogue for Podcasts and training. We edit 'live' (using SADiE) at the same time as recording and use ISDN to record live at full quality from or to another studio. And we often use phone or Skype to connect to clients anywhere in the world who listen in to the session down the line.

Avoiding a pollution incident in the first place is obviously critical, but accidents will happen and the crew that is well drilled will be the one that is best placed to deal with an emergency situation.

The film opens with a fictitious news story about an accident where the crew were totally unprepared and a damaging pollution incident followed. We close using a similar story where the well-drilled crew had everything under control, there was no pollution and hence no damaging repercussions.

We often work with advertising and marketing agencies on photo-shoots on behalf of their clients. The agency is able to make use of our technical, production and directorial skills in their video and audio production. In this case our client was Hampshire based White Communications, who we have worked with for a number of years on a variety of projects.

Nice to see the team from Woodcut Media in the studio the other day who were in to do a voiceover recording. Woodcut recently announced a deal with Sky free-to-air channel Pick to produce two new crime documentary series ‘Britain’s Most Evil Killers’ and the ‘World’s Most Evil Killers.’ These are scheduled to be broadcast early in 2017. Our studio is often booked to record voice-overs for radio and TV programs and adverts. Sometimes the voice-overs are provided by voice actors whose faces will not be familiar to the general public. Zap & Go is a high technology carbon-ion business based in Oxfordshire, UK. We have previously worked with them to produce a promotional video demonstrating their carbon-ion batteries. On this occasion, they commissioned us to produce a video from their R&D labs showing the latest product experiment: a power pack of their batteries which is able to transfer a full charge to a battery on a cordless drill in less than a minute.
